Bulldozers are extremely powerful heavily tracked vehicles equipped with different attachments. Bulldozers are immensely used on construction sites where their tracks give great ground mobility. These heavy earth moving machines can hold through very rough surface or terrain and tracks help them distribute the weight over large areas, hence preventing the dozer from sinking into the muddy or sandy ground.

The bulldozers can tow heavy tanks with ease. Due to its robust and powerful characteristics, bulldozers are employed to remove debris, obstacles, clear roads, bushes, and trees. Bulldozers can also be used to dig trenches, and are even used to carry out military operations.

Industry-Specific uses of Bulldozers
There are attachments that prove very helpful in providing flexibility to the bulldozer so as to perform in different types of working areas. Bulldozers can be found on large and small-scale construction sites, mines, roadsides, military bases, heavy industry factories, and large governmental projects.

Moving Dirt Around:
Moving large amounts of earth to build your own golf course or underground house can be completed in just a matter of days. Bulldozers are experts in moving piles of dirt or landfill from one place to the other and are thus used in multiple piles of earthmoving activities like underground constructions, etc.

Construction:
As one of the most frequent users of modern bulldozers, the construction industry also stands the most to gain from this giant equipment. Common construction tasks that require a bulldozer include loading, grabbing, excavating, backfilling, grading and sweeping. Large constructions are not possible without the use of bulldozers.

Government project:
Government projects like construction of Roads or Highway, Dam work, Railway Track, Airport, Pipeline, Thermal Power Plant, Coal Fired, Mining, Municipal Solid Waste, Oil, and Gas Plant, Solar Power Plant, etc. also make use of bulldozers in abundance. In fact, bulldozers are the primary machines used in such projects from starting till the end.

Barren landscape:
From cutting brush to grading and sweeping, Bulldozers allow landscaping professionals to save time and take up bigger tasks than they could if they had to work manually. Compact in size, they provide easy maneuverability and a light footprint, making them safe for use on fragile or costly grounds.

Ground leveling:
The weight of a dozer is much greater than that of a comparable tractor, however, the distribution of weight on the tracks on the surface exerts much less average pressure on the soil to allow the machine to float and thus limit the phenomenon of compacting the soil. Bulldozers are heavy enough to flatten and level the soil, thus they are used in ground leveling projects.
